The Bucks manager put his players through their paces on Thursday night after holding a meeting with his squad at the New Bucks Head.

Edwards said: "What I do know is all of the players will get an opportunity.

“It’ll be up to them if they want to come on board and be involved in the way we want to work. We’ve got to make sure they’re right for us and the way we want to go.”

The former Wolves Under-23 coach was appointed on Wednesday after the sacking of Rob Smith and his assistant Larry Chambers.

His first game in charge will be a friendly at Midland Premier side Haughmond on July 8.
