Rob Edwards had goals from Will Marsh, James Thorne and a brace from John Marsden to thank for the win in north Wales.

The hosts began the stronger of the two sides, forcing a number of saves from Sheridan Martinez to begin the game.

However Will Marsh soon broke the deadlock in favour of the visitors with his low 20-yard effort beating the Caernarfon goalkeeper to his left.

With the hosts pushing to equalise before the first-half came to a close, Martinez again did well to keep the Bucks ahead with a number of stops making Telford's lead somewhat fortuitous going into the break.

It took just five minutes for the visitors to double their advantage following the restart though, with Thorne getting the better of the Caernarfon stopper with his first touch of the game.

Receiving the ball in from the right wing, he swept home incisively to open what would be an entertaining second half.

The hosts soon found themselves with a way back into the game, after being awarded a penalty following a shove in the box. However, Martinez guessed right between the sticks saving to his left to keep his clean sheet intact.

Both sides continued to battle to grab the games third goal, which eventually came in the 78th minute, John Marsden getting on the end of an Elliot Newby cross and firing home from inside the penalty area to effectively confirm the win for Telford.

There was more action to come as the hosts finally got on the score sheet after being awarded a second spot-kick, this time Nathan Craig wasn't foiled a second time by the Bucks keeper - slotting home to save some blushes.

But with just a minute left to go, the visitors completed their resounding victory with Marsden bagging his second of the game, firing across the host's stopper to end any hopes of a miraculous late comeback.

Rob Edwards can now look forward to his first National League North encounter next weekend, as they travel to York City off the back of their final pre-season win.
