The Bucks enjoyed a 3-0 triumph at Leamington on Monday, but they are still yet to win on home soil in this National League North season.

Edwards said: “We have to try to take it forward into the home game now.

“They need to just go out and do the same as they did on Monday, really.

“We did well on Monday, got the goals and played in the right areas – and we are looking for another performance like that.”

Meanwhile, Edwards has confirmed Kieran Dunbar is set to join Leamington on loan.

The 20-year-old central midfielder was signed by the Bucks earlier this summer and has made five league appearances this term. He was left out of the squad that won at Leamington on Monday, though, amid increased competition following the arrival of Louis McGrory.

Dunbar, who is from Birmingham, is understood to be joining the Brakes for an initial one-month spell.

Edwards said: “I think Kieran is going to go on loan to Leamington, for an initial month.

“It should all be done, sorted out pretty quickly.

“I can’t guarantee him games at the moment but his attitude has been top class since I have come in, he’s a great lad.

“He can go there and get some more minutes under his belt.”

He added: “People are pushing each other, which is good – they are all desperate to play.

“The maximum we want in the squad is 20, really, and its about working to that and fine-tuning here and there.”
