AFC Telford sign former Aston Villa midfielder Henry Cowans

AFC Telford United have confirmed the signing of former Aston Villa midfielder Henry Cowans.

He is the son of ex-Villa star Gordon Cowans, who was part of the 1982 European Cup winning squad, and was recently released by the Championship side.

The 20-year-old made 22 appearances on loan at League Two side Stevenage last season.

He is available for the Bucks' trip to Nuneaton Town tomorrow night (kick-off 7.45pm).
