Dosser stepped down as chairman at the end of June, on a whirlwind day where Rob Smith was sacked as manager and Rob Edwards appointed a few hours later.

Having helped out the club out as a legal director since, Dosser is now back on the board of directors – along with Andy Pryce, Win Pryce and Luke Fearnall, with Ian Tyrer as company secretary.

“I continued to work with the football club and I am now delighted to take up this new role of managing director,” said Dosser.

“Staff and directors are all working very well together to progress the club.”

All director positions continue to be on a part-time, voluntary basis.

Shortly after Dosser’s initial departure, Telford announced they were strengthening their position through extra investment – an ‘ongoing partnership’ to ‘provide a bit more stability for this football club because it was going the wrong way again’.

Plans for the playing staff to go full-time in the next 12 to 18 months were also revealed.

Dosser, who stepped down as Bucks chairman after a 13-year association with the club, agreed to take on the role as managing director after being willed on to do so by the other board members.

He feels the outlook at the club is brighter now, on the back of some good results in National North and making it to the first round proper of the FA Cup.

“I urge both new and existing supporters to continue to come to games to help with what so far looks a more promising season,” he added.

Meanwhile, Telford’s league fixture against Tamworth at the New Bucks Head is to rearranged for a later date.

This is due to the Bucks’ FA Cup first round tie at Hereford taking place on the day the Lambs clash was scheduled for – Saturday, November 4.

The club are yet to announce the exact rearranged date for the visit of Tamworth but are likely to do so over the coming days.

Also, Telford’s Under-18s were knocked out of the FA Youth Cup on Tuesday, losing 2-1 at Handsworth Parramore.

The young Bucks lost 2-1 at Handsworth Parramore in the third qualifying round.
