Bernard McNally: Magic of the Cup is very much alive for AFC Telford
A big well done goes out to the AFC Telford United fans after snapping up more than 700 tickets for Saturday’s FA Cup trip to Hereford.
It just shows the magic of the Cup is very much alive, it brings people in.
Hereford have done well over the past couple of seasons, while the Bucks go into the game on a good run of form.
With the Cup though, form goes right out of the window and it is all about rolling your sleeves up and earning the right to play.
It should be an exciting game and a good day all-round.
Looking at this past weekend’s 1-1 draw with Southport at home, the visitors’ late goal was a tough one to swallow.
Things like that, more often than not, you can put down to experience.
Those sorts of things will happen with the Telford squad being so young but, overall, things seem to be developing nicely.
Rob Edwards is building there for the long term, he is doing a good job.
