AFC Telford boss Rob Edwards searching for a complete performance

The Bucks go into the Broadhurst Park clash on a three-match winless run.

Telford are 13th in National League North – three points off the play-offs – while FC United are second from bottom.

“It would be good to put in a more complete performance – marry two halves together,” said Edwards.

“We’ve been good in spells in recent weeks, but we need to be at it for the full 90 minutes.

“To do that, we need to make sure that we work hard and that everyone does their jobs.”

The two sides met in the FA Cup fourth qualifying round a few weeks ago, with the Bucks scoring two stoppage-time goals to prevail 3-1.

Since that encounter, FC United have announced the departure of Karl Marginson – who joined the club a few days after its formation in 2005 – as manager by mutual consent.

The club say they have been ‘inundated with an excellent calibre of applicants’ for the vacant managerial post. Tom Greaves is in temporary charge.

“FC United will be up for it,” said Edwards.

“A lot of people will have handed in their CV there and possibly their next manager will be watching the game tomorrow.

“We know their qualities, having played them just a couple of weeks ago in the FA Cup – it was a close game.

"They have a good following, a good stadium. We have to make sure that we deal with that.”

John Marsden and Jack Rea are both set to miss out with ankle injuries.

Ross White is suspended for two more games and Jon Royle starts his own three-match ban after a straight red card in the 1-0 FA Cup loss at Hereford last weekend.

On whether he has any more injury worries going into the game, Edwards added: “Everyone else is OK.

“What we have got available is definitely good enough to go there and win.

“It is good enough to go up against any team in this division and look to get the win.”
