Rob Edwards’ men went almost a month without playing and you do get concerned with what impact that could have on fitness.

The Bucks head to Brackley on Saturday, who are always a difficult side, with a decent budget, and this season in particular they are flying in second.

You then have the Kidderminster double-header to look forward to. These are two very big games.

Players and fans love football around Christmas. I always enjoyed playing and managing around that time.

There’s magic and tradition about it, it makes clubs at Telford’s level feel in touch with the top flight as everyone plays at the same time.
