Gavin Cowan’s men put their unbeaten home record on the line again with tonight’s visit of the struggling Bulls. Wycherley was brought in ahead of Leicester loanee Max Bramley for his full Telford debut as they extended their fine home form with a last-gasp victory against York on Saturday.

The summer signing from The New Saints conceded in the first half but the hosts rallied and stole the three points.

“I was disappointed not to keep a clean sheet but I don’t think there was much I could’ve done with the goal,” said the 20-year-old. “It’ll be nice now to get a run of games going, get that No.1 shirt and keep it

.”

Wycherley, who hails from Telford, has been a Bucks fan since the age of six and signed for the club’s academy as a 10-year-old. He added how he learned of Saturday’s debut after arriving at the stadium. “I spoke to the gaffer when I got to the ground. He told me to go out and do my thing and show confidence like I normally do

.”
