The 20-year-old joins the Glassboys, who play a step below in the Southern League Central, to get some much-needed game time at centre-half.

Lilly, a former Thomas Telford pupil, has been with the Bucks for a few years and first made a breakthrough into the first team as a striker under Rob Smith.

He did not make an appearance under Rob Edwards but was offered a reprieve by Gavin Cowan, who turned him into a defender last summer.

Lilly has since made three starts at the back for Telford and had a loan spell at Tamworth, where he impressed and scored against Stratford.

Cowan is a big fan of Lilly’s and hopes he can gain valuable experience in the role, with the aim of making him a more important part of the Bucks squad next season.

Lilly has also had loan spells at Sutton Coldfield Town, Leamington, Rushall Olympic and Romulus over the past few seasons.
