The 2018 FA Trophy winner has checked into the New Bucks Head from Brackley Town as Cowan’s second new signing of the summer.

The Bucks boss reckons Walker’s calibre is an example of the market Telford are now shopping in as Cowan looks to build on last season’s successes.

Walker, 28, joins Chris Lait as new faces through the door at the National League North side.

Cowan, who was with the midfielder at Nuneaton and Solihull Moors, said: “Adam is someone who I have known for a long time and is a top player at this level.

“He is a winner and will bring not only ability but a real steel to what we do.

“To be attracting players of his calibre shows we are moving in the right direction.”

Walker brings vast experience of both the National League North and National League to Cowan’s ranks. He won the FA Trophy at Wembley with Brackley in 2018.

He appeared in all 42 of Brackley’s league games last season, starting in all but one of those as Brackley reached the play-off final.

Walker has made more than 350 appearances in non-league since leaving Coventry in 2009.
