Telford joy as appeal hits £1,000 mark
AFC Telford United have been overwhelmed with the response to their financial appeal amid the Covid-19 breakout.
The Bucks launched a gofundme page seven days ago to help preserve their longevity and has passed the £1,000 mark – currently at £1,175 from 33 donors.
Gavin Cowan’s National League North side remain in limbo on when and if their campaign will resume with the National League suspended indefinitely after a board meeting on Tuesday.
Anybody wishing to donate towards the club's appeal can purchase a season ticket, donate to the gofundme page (https://www.gofundme.com/f/afc-telford-united-covid19-survival-fund), the club shop eBay store or even buying shares.
