Matt Burton’s men had won 20 games in a row and, despite seeing that run come to an end, were able to celebrate as they are 17 points clear with five games left.

The home side had the better of the chances in the first half but were unable to find a breakthrough.

But table-toppers Haughmond, who need 11 more points to reach 100, did go close in the second period when keeper James Gettings was forced into a stunning reaction save after Keiron Northwood had sliced a clearance towards his own goal.
