musicMagpie have secured the unique deal with Salop that will see the company's logo adorn the left sleeve of the host's kits during the FA Cup clash with West Ham.

Walter Gleeson, COO and co-founder of musicMagpie, was delighted to secure the deal ahead of such an exciting tie.

“musicMagpie is delighted to sponsor Shrewsbury Town for their Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie against West Ham United." he told Shrewsburytown.com.

"As a big Town fan, I’ve watched nearly all the home games this season and I’m confident Town can pull off a famous upset given their current form.”

“January can be a tough time of the year financially for fans due to the busy fixture list, but also for football chairman now the transfer window is open!

“We’re really looking forward to seeing our brand on the sleeves of the players, and we wish them all the very best of luck on the day!”

Interest has been high regarding the FA Cup fixture, which is set to be broadcast live on the BBC, bringing a number of memorable names back to the Meadow.

Joe Hart is currently on-loan at the Hammers and spent the early part of his career at Shrewsbury, whilst manager David Moyes also played in blue and amber in his days as a player.

With that interest Andrew Tretton, Town's Commercial Sales Executive admitted that the deal made perfect sense for the cub.

“Since the draw was made. Interest in the fixture has been incredibly high both locally and nationally, especially when it was chosen as a live BBC1 fixture." he said.

“Walter and musicMagpie have supported the club fantastically in recent years in many ways, with sovereign seats and executive boxes at the stadium, and they were also our short sponsor back in 2011.

"The football club would like to thank musicMagpie for their ongoing support, and we’re all excited to see the shirts in action on Sunday.”
