Steve Arnold - 7

Routine performance from the former Barrow man who didn’t really have anything of note to do. Superbly alert to rush off his line and stop Folivi from racing through on goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately went off injured.

Ro-Shaun Williams - 8

After Folivi’s bright start, he showed good positioning to nullify his future involvement to a minimum. Looked confident on the ball as well when linking with Whalley. Clear future is bright for the young man.

Luke Waterfall - 7

Commanding in the air as always and looked more comfortable on the ball as well. Reduced Wimbledon’s chances to bare minimum.

James Bolton - 7

Did well to deal with the threatening presence of Joe Pigott.

Shaun Whalley - 8

Always looked a threat with his dangerous crosses out on the right-wing. Linked up well with Campbell in first-half. Continues to look accomplished at right wing-back.

Ollie Norburn - 8

Always looked comfortable on the ball and found the right pass every time. Defensively solid as well with many interceptions. Assured performance by the captain.

David Edwards - 6

Delivered a few good crosses in first-half and rarely gave the ball away. Quiet attacking-wise and taken off fairly early on for Greg Docherty.

Scott Golbourne - 7

Always looking to push further forward and create opportunities. Was defensively solid as well, always helping out Bolton when necessary. Dealt with his opponent Toby Sibbick easily.

Josh Laurent - 6

Anonymous first-half and had a good chance missed with his wayward header. Tried to link play between midfield and attack but failed to do so with any convincing quality.

Aaron Amadi-Holloway - 6

Showed good hold-up play to win free-kicks to allow Town to relax. No noteworthy opportunities and a quiet performance overall.

Tyrese Campbell - 8

Constantly looked dangerous on the counter-attack. His blistering speed always caused problems for the Dons’ defence who didn’t know how to stop him. Could have done better with a few attempts that failed to trouble Ramsdale in goal and somewhat surprisingly taken off early after an exciting performance.

Fejiri Okenabirhie - 6

Looked dangerous in dying stages as his pace caused problems against weary legs. Didn’t really have the time to make a big impact.

Greg Docherty - 6

Couldn’t really stamp his authority on the game after his shock omission from the starting line-up. Stinging volley blocked with an arm and should have won penalty.

Jonathan Mitchell - 6

Had nothing really to do apart from a claim a long Dons throw, which he did well, after making his debut to replace the injured Arnold.
