Only five loanees can be named in a match day squad, although one of those, Elliot Thorpe, has been out with a back injury since the start of the season.
Thorpe has returned to his parent club Luton to undergo a scan and is not expected to return until mid-October or early November.
Nevertheless, his eventual return will provide another selection headache, although Taylor insists a lot can change between now and then.
Taylor said: “All I know is that Elliot Thorpe won’t be available to us until mid-October or the beginning of November.
