With some tough fixtures around the corner, Shrewsbury Town’s next two games are huge.
It has been a tough six weeks or so for Salop – their unwanted goalscoring record of seven games without scoring is something they will want to put an end to as soon as possible.
Points have been hard to come by for Shrews, they have taken just one from their last five games and they need to turn that around when Northampton visit the Meadow on Saturday.
The game in midweek was a very disappointing evening all-round as they gifted their opposition an advantage in the game before making further mistakes to compound that.
Over the 90 minutes they failed to lay a glove on Oxford United and perhaps they played at their best after they had gone down to 10 men.
