Shrewsbury Town’s home form has been one of the highlights of this season so far, and they will need to be at their best to beat high-flying Bolton.

In the league, Shrews have won four of the seven matches they have played so far at the Croud Meadow, losing two and with just the solitary draw against Charlton.

But on the whole, the form at home has been pretty good, it has been away from their Shropshire base they have struggled.

And this evening’s visitors have been in good form of late, winning five out of their last six League One games and registering a 4-0 hammering over Solihull Moors on Saturday in the FA Cup.

So even though Town go into this game with a spring in their step after their own FA Cup victory at the weekend, given the current league table, this will be their toughest test in Shropshire yet this season.
