Nuno demands a Wolves reaction
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has called for his team to show a reaction against Burton tomorrow as they look to get back to winning ways.
Nuno’s side lost 2-0 at Sheffield United on Wednesday night as they lost their unbeaten away record and slipped to fourth in the table after just their second defeat in 13 matches in all competitions.
The head coach is pleased that another game will come around so quickly – and wants Wolves to learn the lessons from the midweek loss.
“It’s good to have a game soon,” he said. “It’s just next door so there is no time for ‘if, what could’.
“We react – and you react by actions, not words. We have an opportunity to show we’re ready for the job.”
Nuno has been keen to stress that the club shouldn’t get too carried away with their good start to the season – and echoed those same sentiments after a defeat.
“Nothing changes, this is the work and process that we’ve done since we started,” he added.
“We’ll look at the game, look at our training sessions, improve from our mistakes and this is a chance for us to learn how we should avoid things that determine games in football.
“We’re building a team. It doesn’t matter about one day – the end is what’s important for us.
“We’ll analyse together, grow together and get better together.”
