Wolves boss Nuno: Nothing is won in January
"Nothing is decided in January" is Nuno Espirito Santo's message as Wolves look to increase their lead at the top of the Championship tonight.
Nuno's team host Brentford knowing victory will take them 12 points clear of second-placed Derby – and 14 ahead of Cardiff in third.
Wolves are unbeaten in 11 and have only lost once at Molineux this season.
Nuno, though, remains determined to keep a lid on expectations surrounding his side – and says they must be fully prepared to take on an in-form Brentford side who've earned 33 points from their past 17 matches to shoot up the table after a poor start.
"No competition in the world is decided in January," he said.
"We have a tough game against Brentford. The run of Brentford has been impressive, we must be ready.
Another sizeable crowd is expected at Molineux tonight after 3,500 fans went to Bristol for Saturday's dramatic 2-1 win.
Nuno paid tribute to the club's supporters.
"Since day one our fans have been there with us," he said. "We were so far away from home in pre-season and there were 500 fans, I was surprised.
"Let's continue supporting each other because together we are stronger."
