Nuno disappointed but proud after Wolves draw at Barnsley
Nuno Espirito Santo said he was disappointed with the result but proud of his players as they claimed a point at Barnsley.
For the second game in a row Wolves played out a 0-0 draw.
After a turgid first hour the game burst into life late on with Diogo Jota hitting the bar and missing a sitter, while Barnsley also spurned a couple of decent opportunities.
Nuno said: "(There is) disappointment not because of the game but because of the result.
"That's the first sign of a team that wants to grow.
"Winning is a tough, tough thing to achieve and every game is very hard.
"Football will give you things as long as you work hard. Growing is that - being disappointed at not getting three points, disappointment of not celebrating with our fans the way we want to.
"We did a good game, it was a tough pitch to play, it's difficult to break Barnsley down they are well organised.
"Let's go for the next one, well done boys.
"There were good things, bad things, things to improve, you know how I feel."
Substitutes Ivan Cavaleiro and Rafa Mir both made positive contributions from the bench as Wolves pushed for a late winner.
Nuno was pleased with their impact. He said: "I think new energy, different things, it's good for us and good answers from the boys.
"Also from the game before the FA Cup, good answers. The squad wants to play every game and it makes me feel very proud.
"What do we have to do? Go get it at Molineux against Forest."
Almost 5,000 Wolves fans travelled north and packed out the away end.
Nuno paid tribute and said: "It's fantastic. We have to be proud of ourselves knowing the fans are here behind the team, so far away on a cold day. The boys felt it.
"I think the last 10 minutes the fans pushed us."
Ruben Neves hobbled off in the dying minutes and the head coach revealed his Portuguese midfielder was suffering with cramp.
"It was tiredness, he had done a lot of running," he added.
"In that moment I was feeling that no change could (be made) because the boys were dominating the game.
"But he came out because he couldn't run! It shows how much he left on the pitch with cramps, it's a sign he gave everything he had."
