Alfred N'Diaye praises Wolves team mates
Alfred N’Diaye believes Benik Afobe can help get Wolves over the promotion line – and that Ruben Neves can thrive at a higher level.
Wolves go into this weekend’s game against QPR at Molineux looking to maintain or increase their huge 11 point lead at the top of the Championship.
Afobe rejoined on loan from Bournemouth last week and N’Diaye, who has started the last two games owing to Romain Saiss’s hamstring injury, says his quality is there for all to see.
“I don’t know him but after less than one week, you can see his quality and he’s quite a player,” N’Diaye said.
“Before he scored a lot of goals for Wolves, so I hope for him and for us, he can score again. We have good strikers – we have him, Leo (Bonatini) and Rafa (Mir) so we have a lot of strikers and wingers too.
“It’s important for everyone if the offensive players score. If they score, I don’t need to score!
“It’s better for them to score and for their confidence.”
Neves starred again in last weekend’s 3-0 win over Sheffield United and is regularly being dubbed at the best player in the league.
N’Diaye praised the 20-year-old’s impact. He said: “He has good quality. He’s young but he’s a good player and when he scores a goal like that, everyone is happy – it’s very nice for the fans and for us.
“He works on it – the day before the game, we work on shooting and free-kicks and he always focuses on that – he works well.
“With his talent, he can go up and be a really good player.”
“The Championship is a very hard league – there are a lot of games.
“You can’t play very well in every game – sometimes it is hard but even when we play bad, we have to try to win and we have done that.
Tickets have sold out in home areas for the QPR clash. It’s the seventh Molineux sell-out of the season.
