The Portuguese head coach takes his team to Elland Road on Wednesday night to face Leeds United, fresh from a free weekend following the postponement of Saturday's game against Reading due to heavy snow it and around Molineux.

"The work is clear," Nuno said.

"(We must) work harder with more focus than ever because these moments require total togetherness and the same spirit.

"All over the pitch we have to be good.

"We cannot allow anything to distract us or take us off our ethic. Nothing changes.

"We know we'll have the support of our fans, they've been there all season."

Leeds boss Paul Heckingbottom believes Wednesday's game in the 'perfect' one for his team.

Leeds lost 3-0 at Middlesbrough on Friday night and need a win at Elland Road to revive their flagging play off hopes, with the Yorkshire club currently in 12th place and eight points off the top six.

"It's probably the perfect game," he said.

"The best team in the league so far, at home, big crowd. Perfect game for us."

Managing director Laurie Dalrymple said Wolves were left with 'no choice' but to postpone Saturday's game due to conditions not only at Molineux but around the city.

The fixture was called off at 9.15am on Saturday morning.

Dalrymple said: "“Unfortunately it is not just Molineux that has been affected, but the surrounding areas are extremely treacherous, including many of the city car parks, which are presently unusable.

“We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to the hardy volunteers and club staff who worked through the night in a bid to save the game - unfortunately it just wasn’t to be this time.”

He later tweeted: "Despite lots of help offered, there wouldn't have been enough bodies or time needed. Every level (inside!) of the ground has snow coverage. Next stop, Leeds."
