Diogo Jota, Willy Boly and Raul Jimenez have been added to the squad for the Premier League campaign at a cost of £26million.

And with more money sure to be spent this summer Wolves are confident of being ready for the big August 11 kick off.

Dalrymple said: “People talk about a summer break – we haven’t massively got one! Equally I wouldn’t have it any other way because if we weren’t making a huge amount of investment and these development changes at the club it would be because we’re not in the Premier League.

“We’re pleased with where we’re going, we’ve got some big deadlines to meet over the next few weeks but everything is on track.

“The team are working extremely hard, the boys are back in a couple of weeks and everyone will be getting focused and back to it.

“The fixtures coming out on Thursday brings it all into sharp focus as well.”

Meanwhile, Wolves legend Steve Bull believes the club’s business in the transfer market is helping ensure they will stay in the Premier League for years to come.

The 53-year-old, who netted more than 300 goals for Wolves, said: “The money speaks volumes on how much them am spending on them. So there must be some talent.

“I don’t think many people have heard of Jimenez or Rui Patricio (who Wolves have been strongly linked with) but I think Nuno Espirito Santo knows what he wants.

"He is getting what he wants and he wants to stop in the Premier League. And that is the type of player we have got to have.

“Anything is good isn’t it, anything will be a bonus. How we finished last season, I think we had enough in our team to cope with the Premier League.

“But now we are strengthening it out I think to guarantee we are there for a few years on.”
