Wolves have completed the £18million club record signing of Adama Traore from Middlesbrough.

The 22-year-old has penned a five-year contract and becomes Wolves' ninth signing of the summer.

It ends a month-long chase for the Spaniard who quickly became Nuno Espirito Santo's number one target for a new addition up front.

Wolves initially had a bid rejected for Traore but met the player's £18m release clause on Sunday and personal terms were quickly agreed.

Wolves still hope to bring in 'at least one' more signing before Thursday.

Manchester City's Oleksandr Zinchenko remains a possibility, with the left wing back/central midfielder set to decide today if he wants to move to Molineux after the two clubs agreed a deal.

However despite reports elsewhere the Express & Star understands it's 'very unlikely' that Wolves will sign Swansea midfielder Sam Clucas.
