The 27-year-old has completed a season-long loan after falling out of boss Nuno Espirito Santo's plans.

Batth wasn't named in a Wolves match-day squad this season ahead of the move to Tony Pulis' side.

Middlesbrough won't have an option to buy him.

Batth came through the club's academy and made his first-team debut in 2010 against Southend United.

He has made more than 200 appearances for Wolves, helping the club to the League One title in 2014 and Championship title last season.

A club statement said: "Everyone at Wolves would like to wish Danny the very best of luck for the upcoming season."
