Wolves moved up to seventh in the table after beating Crystal Palace 1-0 today and are now unbeaten in six games.

Matt Doherty sealed all three points on 56 minutes with a low drive past former Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

Nuno was left impressed with the performance after a 'tough game'.

The 44-year-old said: "Crystal Palace created us a lot of problems in the first half and we had to adapt.

"With this pitch (at Selhurst Park) we know the ball is very fast but we did good. Today was not easy but I am really pleased because Selhurst Park is a tough stadium to come to.

"I think we didn't start so good but when you look at all the game, we were the better team.

"We controlled the second half and (while) Crystal Palace were breaking us, we had the better chances and I am really pleased with the result today."

Wolves now have 15 points from eight games going into the international break.

Nuno is pleased with that tally but believes there is still 'room for improvement' and wants to return to action even stronger.

He said: "It is good (the tally), I think the standards are high, we want to repeat them and improve on them and now it is the international break, it would be a good moment to work on other aspects inside the squad so when we return, we are strong if possible and even better."

Nuno was also thankful of Wolves' away support after they made the long journey down to south London to cheer their team on.

He said: "Yes they made us feel like we are at Molineux. We are very thankful for the support they gave us. I say let us do it again because together we are stronger."
