Wolves have only beaten one of the league's bottom four teams and could easily have lost at Craven Cottage.

Romain Saiss' late equaliser salvaged them a point.

But Coady said: "Yeah it's hard (against teams who try and stop us). We need to find solutions in how to get round that, how to get through that.

"We did it better in the second half, we were patient with the ball and moved them from side to side and waited for openings.

"We need to make sure we keep on learning because teams will make it difficult for us.

"(At half time Nuno said) be patient with the ball in terms of moving it from side to side, stop trying to force things that aren't on.

"They were sitting in, they were letting us have the ball and counter attack us.

"We had to be tighter and control the play more – we did that in the second half.

"A point was probably fair. They had chances in the first half, we controlled the second half but it was tough to break them down.

"They had five at the back, to get round them was hard. We were patient and we deserved the goal in the end."

Coady saved Wolves late on when sprinting back to his own goal to clear off the line to deny Aleksandar Mitrovic.

"I don't usually show pace that often!" he joked.

"I made sure I was there and luckily I got it. It's just about helping the team and making sure I'm in the right place at the right time.

"Mitrovic was offside so it would have killed us if it had gone it.

"He's good, he causes teams problems but I felt like we dealt with him better this year than we did last year.

"We were too far away from each other last year and we weren't helping each other out – this year we did a bit more."

Wolves are back in London on Saturday when they travel to Wembley for the first time since 1988 to face Spurs.

"To go to a place like that, we'll enjoy it," Coady added.

"It's a heavy schedule. We'll recover and prepare and make sure we're ready."

The Wolves captain also praised Boxing Day goalscorer Romain Saiss.

"Saiss is a great professional in terms of what he does on the training ground all the time, he's always doing things right, training well and waiting for his chance," he said.

"Now he's playing, he breaks up play, I thought him and Moutinho played really well."
