Wolves are three points clear in seventh place and close to securing the ‘best of the rest’ tag that could lead to European football.

They face relegated Fulham at Molineux this Saturday before travelling to title-chasing Liverpool on the final day of the campaign.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side bounced back from three winless matches, a run which included a devastating FA Cup semi-final defeat to Watford, to beat Arsenal and the Hornets in the past week.

And Coady said: “It’s huge but we know we’ve got the character in the squad, we’ve got players who want to play in games like Saturday who step up to the plate.

“What we’ve done this season and this past week has been fantastic.

“I felt like we deserved the last two wins so hopefully we can kick on now in the last two games.”

Wolves and Watford have struck up an unlikely rivalry this season owing to both chasing seventh and of course that Wembley semi-final clash.

“They’re a good football club, they’ve done really well this season and we had to be ready for them.” Coady added. “We had a gameplan coming into the game which is what we usually do and we stuck to that.

“We scored two brilliant goals, we’re disappointed we conceded one. To come away with a win from a very tough place is great for everybody.”

Wolves will now look to cement that seventh spot, possibly via a win over the Cottagers. Coady added: “It would be an incredible achievement, it really would, but we’ve got a big game next week against Fulham which we’re looking forward to.

We’ve got a lot to play for this season, a lot of teams haven’t but we’ve got a lot to play for.

I’m looking forward to it. When you’re winning you can’t wait to play a game and it’s a big one for us.”
