Wolves duo Roderick Miranda and Leo Bonatini to return

Forgotten men Roderick Miranda and Leo Bonatini are on their way back to Wolves, with neither Olympiakos or Nottingham Forest set to buy the pair.

But Kortney Hause's future won't be decided until after Aston Villa's play-off final against Derby next Monday.

A host of Wolves outcasts who spent this season on loan at other clubs are likely to return to Compton Park this summer.

Centre-half Miranda only played 11 times for Greek runners-up Olympiakos.

Wolves paid £2.5m when they bought the 28-year-old from Portuguese side Rio Ave in 2017, handing him a four-year contract.

Bonatini failed to score in only five appearances for Forest, playing just 158 minutes and not featuring at all in the final two months of the campaign.

Boss Martin O'Neill admitted it had been 'tough' for Bonatini after his January loan move to the City Ground.

The 25-year-old Brazilian striker moved to Molineux permanently for £5m last summer. His contract runs until 2022.

Wolves will search for permanent moves for the pair but it's unlikely they'll get anywhere near the combined £7.5m they paid for Miranda and Bonatini.

There's a chance the two players, plus the likes of Michal Zyro, Jordan Graham and Rafa Mir, who've also been out on loan, could help fill out the squad when Wolves start their Europa League campaign in July, but Wolves have yet to decide if they field senior pros or under-23 starlets when the competition starts.

Irish midfielder Connor Ronan yesterday signed a new two-year contract.

He has enjoyed a productive loan with Slovakian top flight side Dunajská Streda, who Wolves are expected to firm up an unofficial partnership with this summer.

Ronan is set to go back out on loan again next year, the Express & Star understands.

Talks are ongoing with out-of-contract Bright Enobakhare about a new deal. If he does pen a contract it's believed it's unlikely he'll return to Coventry City next season.
