Wolves struggled against the bottom six, earning only four wins in 12 matches.

The Mexican striker, who netted 17 times in all competitions and was named players’ player of the season at the club’s end of year awards, says they’ll be working on it throughout pre-season.

"Yes we want to, from the pre-season we have to work on that,” he said.

"In the friendly matches that we have we have to look to our form being better with those kind of teams so I think in the next season we can do it better.

"I think we left like 10 points that maybe we could win.

"Maybe (with those points) we could compete for being in the Europa League not in the seventh place, just in the sixth place, fifth place, I don’t know.

"It’s complicated but we can do it if we make a good performance against the bottom six teams."
