Steve Bull: The excellent Matheus Cunha cannot be relied on for Wolves goals
Matheus Cunha was brilliant against Manchester United, but I don’t think he’ll get the goals for Wolves.
For me, he’s not an out-and-out number nine, I think he’s a number 10 behind the front man.
But his work-rate from box to box is incredible. I’d love to see him get a goal as it could start him on a goalscoring run, but is he the answer to all the goalscoring issues? I don’t think so.
We need someone like Fabio Silva to score 15-20 goals this season and be that number nine. If he stays, which looks likely, he needs to get his goalscoring boots on. He only needs one and I then think he’ll get a few.
Despite that, I think Gary O’Neil should keep the same starting XI from the first game, when we take on Brighton.
