Steve Bull: Wolves need to focus on avoiding silly yellow cards
It’s frustrating as a player to pick up silly yellow cards.
Some of the things that aren’t blatant, we’re getting penalised for and you can’t do anything about it.
The officials are clamping down on time wasting and other small things and it can be frustrating to see cards given out so easily, but Wolves know what the rules and guidelines are and they need to stick to them.
We have to abide by the rules and get on with it, but also learn from it and don’t kick the ball away, pull shirts or go in for that second tackle.
I know it can be frustrating for the fans too, because the players can’t tackle like we used to in the old days, but it’s the way football is going forward.
