Hwang Hee-chan proud to equal two Wolves records
Hwang Hee-chan is full of pride after equalling two Wolves records that have stood for 50 years.
The in-form forward’s goal against Newcastle at the weekend was his seventh in all competitions this season and sixth in the Premier League – making him the first Wolves player to score six in the club’s first 10 top flight games since Derek Dougan half a century ago.
Alongside that, he has equalled John Richards’ 50-year record of scoring in six consecutive top flight games at Molineux – a record Hwang will beat if he scores against Spurs on November 11.
“My goals come from teamwork and we train very hard and understand each other very well – that’s where my goals come from,” Hwang said.
