Wolves v Tottenham preview: Wolves midfield men are ready to earn their Spurs
Mario Lemina is preparing for a midfield battle against Spurs and believes Wolves have the quality to succeed in the middle of the park.
Despite tomorrow’s visitors suffering a number of injury and suspension concerns, they are expected to be at full strength in midfield.
Pape Sarr and Yves Bissouma started together against Chelsea on Monday and could keep their places
For Wolves, the midfield pairing has been a subject of debate in recent weeks, with Gary O’Neil dropping Joao Gomes in favour of giving both Boubacar Traore and Tommy Doyle an opportunity.
Lemina is likely to start and the experienced midfielder believes the squad has good competition in his position to tackle upcoming games.
“Of course, it’s really good competition and really positive,” Lemina said. “We all try to push hard and Tommy and Bouba work really hard every day and they deserve to get seen by the fans.
“They are really good players and if they have to play in the starting XI they will give everything and we are really happy with that.
