Wolves value Daniel Podence at around £8.5million this summer amid interest from Saudi Arabia.
The Portuguese attacker has one year left on his contract, with the option of extending it by a further year, and was expected to depart this summer.
However, after being included in the squad for the pre-season trip to Spain, Podence was given an opportunity to impress.
