Burt, who has already won the Youth Championships in recent weeks, carded rounds of 71 and 70 to finish with a winning combined score of three under par 141.

It was enough to edge out his Wrekin clubmate Will Enefer, who came, second in the Under-18s category of the event, which was played at Hawkstone Golf Club.

Enefer scored 74 and 71 to finish with a one over par 145 while Bridgnorth's Callum Brown came third, having carded rounds of 77 and 71 for a combined 148.

Burt's latest triumph will see him represent Shropshire & Herefordshire in the Midland Golf Union's Junior Champion of Champions event at Lingdale Golf Club.

He will also take part at the English Golf Champion of Champions at Woodhall Spa. In the Under-16s category, second place went to Bridgnorth's Conor White while Patshull Park's Adam Reade came third.

White scored 75 and 76 for an overall score of 151, while Reade was a shot behind.
