Shropshire golfers clinch third spot in Midlands qualifiers
Shropshire's Team of Six came third in the English Golf County Championship Midlands Qualifiers – as Ashley Chesters took the individual accolades at Moseley Golf Club.

Chesters, Ed Tranter, Matthew Birch, Kris Williams, Alex Allen and Craig Simmonds finished just behind winners Warwickshire and runners-up Staffordshire on Saturday.
Ludlow professional Oliver Farr finished tied 36th in the Belgian Challenge Open.
Farr carded a one-over-par final-round71 yesterday to finish on six under.
