Shropshire duo target The Open
Shropshire professionals Oliver Farr and David James were today aiming to reach one of golf's most prestigious tournaments.

Final qualifying for The Open will take place at four venues across the country today, withFarr, from Ludlow, and James, from Bridgnorth, both set to compete at Woburn in Buckinghamshire.
Sunningdale, Gailes Links and Hillside will also see action with only the top three players at each venue advancing to contest the Claret Jug at Royal Liverpool. The Open will run from July 13-20.
