Shropshire golfer Ashley Chesters on England duty
Shropshire's European amateur champion Ashley Chesters will be aiming to help England defend the European team crown in Finland next week.

Chesters, who won the individual championships in Spain last August, has been named in the national team which will contest the European Men's Team Championship at Linna Golf Club.
The five-day competition, which England won last year, gets underway on Tuesday.
Chesters, who plays out of Hawkstone Park, will form part of a six-strong team also featuring the newly-crowned English amateur stroke play champion Ben Stow (Rushmore, Wiltshire), Ryan Evans (Wellingborough, Northamptonshire), Paul Howard (Southport & Ainsdale, Lancashire), Jordan Smith (Bowood Golf & Country Club, Wiltshire) and Toby Tree (Golf at Goodwood, Sussex).
England have won the European title on 11 occasions. Last year in Denmark, after qualifying, they beat Denmark 5-2, the Netherlands 6-1 and then overcame Scotland 4.5-2.5 in the final.
The first two days of the European Championships is devoted to stroke play qualifying with the last three days featuring the match play knockout stages.
