Craven Arms Town FC is about to take delivery of a set of team rain jackets, the result of a freshly signed deal with Total Response Ltd.

The sponsorship is a big boost for the team, which is only two years old, having been started in 2015 after years of Craven Arms being without its own dedicated football squad.

This year Craven Arms Town FC finished fifth in the Mercian Regional Football League First Division, leaving spirits high and the side looking forward to next season.

Total Response Ltd are part of Shropshire Housing Group, which is one of the biggest employers in Craven Arms, has given the club £500 to buy the new team rain jackets.

Clive Leworthy, chairman of the club said: “We really appreciate the backing of our sponsors and this is the second deal with Shropshire Housing Group, with Total Response already a sponsor.”

Francis Narweh, director of Total Response, added: “We have a firm goal, if you’ll pardon the pun, to work with the local community on all levels. The town’s football club is the heart of the town for many people, so we are delighted to help.”

Total Response Ltd is based in Craven Arms and provides property maintenance and improvements for home owners, landlords, estate agents and other clients in the Shropshire area.
