Telford Tigers close the gap at the top
Telford Tigers closed the gap on NIHL National League leaders Swindon Wildcats to just two points thanks to a crushing 5-1 victory at Sheffield Steeldogs last night.

The Tigers raced into a 3-0 lead with Vladimir Luka netting either side of a strike from Jack Hopkins – putting them firmly in charge at the end of the first period.
Sheffield got one back right at the end of the second period, but it failed to spark a revival as Danny Rose restored Telford’s three-goal advantage just 43 seconds into the final period and Hopkins wrapped things up.
