Ashley Greenwood is one of three lacing up a glove for the first time on the 14-fight bill, alongside Chris Blaze and Michael Porter.

Greenwood, a 28-year-old boxing bricklayer from Hollinswood in Telford, takes top billing less than six months after taking up the sport.

Welterweight Blaze and light welter Porter will also make their bow, all without head-guards under the new regulations.

Trainer Daniel Bent takes on Ludlow's Chris Preece in a light middleweight Shropshire derby, with both having in the England Development championships.

Coach Tristian Davies' son Brayden is in action against Jagbir Mann, from Amphion in Wednesbury, who lost to Donnington's Bradley Thompson at the venue last month.

Thompson is targeting revenge of his own over Ryan Humphries, from Second City in Birmingham, after losing to him on a home club-show earlier this year.

Donnington will also stage a rare girls bout represented by Jasmin Griffiths, who will take on Great Wyrley's Sarah Wicklen.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children, with everyone paying on the door tonight. Doors open at 7pm, with boxing starting at 8pm.
