The 18-year-old was unbeaten, taking five-and-a-half points in his six matches during the three-day event.

England's dominant six-man squad beat Finland, Germany and hosts Spain by the same scoreline of 7-2.

Wrekin Golf Club's Enefer and partner Josh Hilleard won every game they played apart from the opening foursomes against Finland, which they halved.

Lead coach Paul Ashwell said: "The week has gone very well. We have had a great team spirit, a lot of fun and the standard of golf has been excellent. I'm very proud of everyone involved.

"The players will all have lots of positives to take into their early-season events."

England set the tone for the championship early in the first match against Finland, securing a win and two hard-fought halves in the foursomes, before going on to take five of the six singles.

Though the final margin of victory over Germany was convincing, the match saw four of the six singles go to the final hole.

Another strong showing in the foursomes against Spain then set them up for a fifth overall victory in a tournament they last won in 2014.
