Shropshire tread water after latest loss
Shropshire have stood their ground in the BDO British Inter-Counties Championship Division Four despite enduring another defeat.

The county darters suffered their fourth loss in five matches after making the trip to Bedfordshire last weekend,
They recorded one win, a draw and two defeats from four pairings over two days of darts, but remain in eighth place.
The two teams below them in the 10-strong table, Pembrokeshire and the Isle of Wright, were also beaten. Shropshire's one win this season came at home to Pembrokeshire.
The respective women's B teams were first to the oche, where the visitors suffered an early blow through a 6-0 whitewash.
Hannah Meadwell led the way for Bedfordshire, top scoring with an average of 18.56 in a 3-0 landslide over Cally Jones, whose 17.55 was the highest losing tally.
Shropshire were competitive as they battled to arrest the slide in the men's B clashes, but were left as they were after a 6-6 draw.
Bobby Lee racked up 27.83 for the hosts in a 3-0 shut-out of Martin Riggs (25.57), while Shropshire's Robert Henderson finished with 24.64 in a 3-0 whitewash of Steve Green (21.53).
Shropshire kept themselves alive in the women's A ties, where the away side recorded a 4-2 success to cut the deficit to four points.
Marie Riggs excelled for the victors, with 19.27 in a 3-0 result against Angela Moyce (18.81). Maria Perrin got the best response, with 18.73 in a 3-2 verdict over Michele Pritchard (18.82).
Shropshire would concede defeat after the men's A finale, though, where they were well beaten 9-3 as the home line-up got over the line.
Aiden O'Mahoney finished in style for them, with 26.70 in a hard-fought last leg win over Andi Chatter (25.20). Play was upgraded to a best-of-seven format.
Derek Coulson had 25.57 for Shropshire as he beat Dara Curran (25.71) by a 4-2 margin, but it ultimately proved in vain.
Bedfordshire prevailed 23-13 in total, earning three extra points as the winning county. Shropshire next entertain Wiltshire at Castle Hall in Bridgnorth on February 11-12.
