Much Wenlock school receives new minibuses and a mystery donation
Staff and students at William Brookes School received two new minibuses this week. These vehicles were ordered two years ago but have arrived today, ready to transport students to sporting events, fixtures and alternative provisions.
As a rural school, transport can be a barrier to accessing amenities and facilities for some students. Two new, reliable mini buses will be well-used to transport students around the county and beyond.
Alongside the two new minibuses, the school has been donated a new defibrillator. This defibrillator will accompany students to sporting events. The defibrillator was donated by a mystery sponsor who has asked to remain nameless but who cares deeply about student health and welfare.
Students and staff want to thank this kind benefactor for this selfless act – it is an item the school hope they never have to use, but are very pleased to have.
