A real 'team effort' - Cheer Athletics Telford open second premises

Telford's very own world-class cheerleading academy Cheer Athletics, opened their second premises on 11 January... with a little help from their friends and families!

After seeing the incredible growth for cheerleading, dance and gymnastics over the past few years, Cheer Athletics Telford have 'taken the leap' and secured a second premises.

Athletes, coaches and their families all worked together over the Christmas period to ensure the gym would be ready for their official opening - from painting to cleaning, planning to banner hanging - everyone got stuck in to make the deadline a reality.

CA Telford will operate from two fully equipped gyms to serve the young people of the area, and continue to provide them with opportunities to learn new skills and grow in confidence.

Since 2011, Cheer Athletics Telford have prided themselves on providing a safe and professional place for athletes to persevere, feel empowered, and push their limits.

CA/DA are proud to have coached thousands of athletes across Telford and the West Midlands over the last 13 years, achieving over a thousand prestigious awards, and are now able to serve even more of Telford's young people.

Whilst their competition achievements are wonderful, it’s the amazing young people involved in CA Telford which are a true sign of our success - their passion lies within their commitment to providing these individuals with opportunities to grow and succeed in life, to be “the best of the best” both on and off the competition floor.

A spokesperson said: "We are so thankful to all involved in getting our new gym up and running. With such a quick turnaround, we have seen athletes and their families pulling together to support the group effort. It was wonderful to see so many happy faces on our grand opening day, enjoying the new premises, and signing up to our new classes!"

CA Telford's grand opening saw hundreds of people turn up and enjoy stalls, activities and games and demonstrations from athletes of all ages.

There really is no better time to enrol with CA Telford, there is something for everyone from ages 3+ to adult in both cheerleading, dance and gymnastics. All first classes are free to trial.
