This iconic route will see you meander down what was once parts of the old Great Western Railway line, and the dry canal beds of the Shropshire Canal. You will continue past several of the award winning Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge Museums and over the famous Iron Bridge itself, following the River Severn and the old Coalbrookdale Viaduct, once used to transport coal to the now demolished Ironbridge Power Station.

This half marathon is truly surrounded by history and you will see evidence of this throughout the route, all whilst being supported by members of the mighty Telford Harriers Running Club.

There is now only six weeks left to enter this fabulous race, so why not make your next click count and enter at: entrycentral.com/IronbridgeHalf2025
