The 'We Care That You Care' campaign continues! Much Wenlock equestrian centre receive donation

The STIGA team are proud to announce that they have donated a number of products to The Cavalier Centre based in Much Wenlock, through their We Care That You Care campaign.

The Cavalier Club, which is based at The Cavalier Centre, offers horse-related volunteering activities in a supportive environment. Members of the Cavalier Club, participate in activities that ensure the horses are well cared for and that the centre runs smoothly.

Benefits of Joining

  • Teamwork: Work together with fellow members, get to know each other, and develop teamwork skills.
  • Skills Development: Gain valuable skills and knowledge about horse care, which are transferable to other settings.
  • Networking: Visit other organisations that offer volunteering opportunities.
  • Celebrate Achievements: Participate in a coffee morning to celebrate the end of the programme.

Jo Winwood, of The Cavalier Club, said: "Many thanks to Stiga for their very generous donations of gardening equipment to the Cavalier Centre.  Our dedicated volunteers look after the horses but also our amazing grounds and the equipment will make their work easier and keep the centre looking amazing. If you are in Shropshire, do pop in to meet the team. Thanks again for the donation. We really do appreciate it!" 

The STIGA and Mountfield products donated were: 

  • From STIGA 48V range: BC 700e Brushcutter BL 500e Blower PH 700e Long reach pole hedger 
  • From the Mountfield 48V range: MHT 50Li Hedgetrimmer MPP0 50Li Long reach pole pruner

All share the same ePower battery system. The 'We Care, That You Care' campaign embodies the STIGA passion for nature and the pledge towards a more sustainable future. The goal? To support 90 community garden groups throughout the UK, honouring each year of the 90th anniversary, by empowering others with innovative, eco-friendly garden products.

How to get involved

If you are responsible for any non-profit, community group or charity that looks after a green space and would like to receive products from STIGA's innovative, eco-friendly garden product range, for free, then simply register on the wecare.stigauk.com website.  

The STIGA judging panel will assess your application along with your social engagement tokens. You will be notified if you are successful, stating the free products that will be donated to your community group.
