This is a project that English Heritage have been wanting to undertake for quite some time. As they finally reached the last stages of permissions to get the work done, Priestgate were given the opportunity to quote and win the contract for installing the 4 x raised sleeper beds. Over a dozen English Heritage volunteers came to the call of Buildwas Abbey for assisting where they could with bringing in top soil and compost to fill the beds. "This was a great opportunity for us to get involved with English Heritage, and get to work alongside some great volunteers."

The herb beds should get planted and ready for the viewing public in spring. An exciting time for both English Heritage & Priestgate Ltd.
